**Dictyophora**

In spite of its unusual appearance, which resembles something that has wrapped itself around a sack, Dictyophora is an edible mushroom. It is usually eaten by removing the netting and the head of the mushroom and then blanching the parts that will be eaten. However, yellow Dictyophora are known to be poisonous so it's best to be careful.
