Pomfret
The pomfret is a fish characterized by its predominantly dark-brown body, with the exception of the central part of its caudal fin. Its body is flat, and its eyes are positioned towards the dorsal side. The dorsal and anal fins are shaped like a scythe, and it features robust protrusions on its tail, which appear to be modified scales.
