Black Eye Crab
The black eye crab, often found in the shallow waters near coastal areas, is noted for its higher intelligence compared to other crustaceans. These crabs are known to create small burrows in the sand and mud, where they prefer to remain hidden, emerging only occasionally for hunting to ensure their survival. The name "Black Eye Crab" originates from its unique characteristic of turning anything it is cooked with black. The dark liquid released during cooking is reputed to be highly beneficial for health.
