Defeated Again

I cannot defeat Vaha in the Gladios no matter how hard I try. I can't help but watch him overpower my weapons every single time. The only way to obtain Master's recognition is to win the Gladios. Even when I try to apply what I learned from Vaha, victory is still out of reach.
