Olun Traditions I

The Oluns dug up and ate the roots of trees buried in the ground. With a big smile, they handed over a root, anticipation oozing from their eyes. I had no choice but to respectfully take a small nibble. I can still taste the mud sticking to my gums. I gnawed away at the root, then pretended to swallow it whole, which caused the Oluns to jump up and down in great delight. - Yolu
