The third of the Eight Splendors of Byukgye, chosen by an unknown scholar.
The oldest tree in the institute, it stands strong to this day, proudly extending its branches. Sitting at the gazebo next to it and viewing the tree from there, one gets a sense of how long the tree has endured.
"Trees can endure for hundreds and thousands of years as their steadfast trunks do not bend in times of adversity."
