Legend of the Old Well

There once existed a well that could double any item that was cast into it. Its discoverer used the well's power to amass a fortune for himself, but its secret became known to others before long.

It is said the walls of the well eventually crumbled when a particularly greedy soul attempted to double an item that was as large as the well itself. The well has since been restored, but its power is no more.
