Taehak - Main Doctrine

The founder of the Sangdo School's <Taehak>, Master Gowon, was a general under Go Dahn, the founding lord of the Land of the Morning Light, and sworn brother under oath. He was known as "Unsa" because he led his soldiers like clouds, sweeping away enemies.

Master Gowon believed that the essence of the "Do" lies in the ever-changing nature of clouds, freely roaming the skies. Only a strong body can embody the essence of the Do and achieve freedom, so one must endlessly polish and refine their swordsmanship.
