Memories of the Black Spirit

When I first sensed its presence, I was engulfed by a feeling as if I had been frozen in time. The small, black figure before me, appearing as though the very essence of darkness had taken on a will of its own. Its ominously flickering red eyes bore into me, concealing secrets within their depths. Yet, strangely, instead of fear, I felt an uncanny familiarity.
