As rumors of a piercing scream echoing through the Escar Mountains grew louder, a group of Valencian merchants visiting the sanctuary joined forces to construct an altar deep in the mountains. Strangely, not long after it was built, the altar mysteriously collapsed. Many have speculated about what caused its destruction, but no clear answer has ever been found.
