When she opened her eyes again, no memories remained. Only pain remained like something had pierced straight through her heart, and a distant voice echoing inside her skull. In the midst of agony and confusion, she clung to the shreds of her body and mind.
Someone approached and asked her name, but the question only deepened her disorientation. 'Who am I? What had I been doing?' Breathing hard, heart racing, she forced her eyes closed. A voice whispered in her ear... "Greta." Someone had definitely called her that once. Whose voice was it? Gentle, warm—yet the warmth struck her with a sorrow so cold it ached.
But the world offered her no time for confusion. An awakened Ancient Weapon surged toward the townsfolk, and before she even understood why, Greta instinctively grasped the greatsword in her hands.
