Valere

Valere is a shrewd merchant who secured trading rights by flattering the Ahib in O'draxxia, a city notoriously hostile to outsiders. Though branded a traitor for selling secrets to the Ahib, he has amassed a fortune through his monopoly on shadow mushrooms. Behind a mask of fawning laughter lies a cold, calculating mind; he feeds off the Ahib's authority, driven solely by his own survival and self-interest.
