Someone's Wish

A life filled only with regret. A life of defeat, without a single moment of satisfaction. I never once obtained what I truly wanted. I spent my whole life running away. Even the things I once thought I had made peace with now haunt me when I look back. Why do I realize these things only now? If only I had understood sooner... But it is far too late. It took this desolate land to make me see clearly. As I fade away, having accomplished nothing, I hope at least one person will remember this wretched soul.
