The Alchemist's Efforts I

As always, more brothers return wounded from their duties. As their alchemist, I am tasked with developing a new medicine. Yet despite all my efforts, no tangible results have come. What am I to do?

The monsters grow ever more savage. Each day, more brothers come seeking relief. Their cries of pain echo constantly in my mind. I cannot send them to Aal without exhausting every possible effort. They placed their hope in me. I must deliver results soon.

There is little time. Even now, they endure agony to continue the fight.
