Where could they have gone?

One path is clearly more dangerous; the other, a little safer. I can only guess which way they went at the crossroads. If they were the sort to hide quietly, maybe they chose safety. I do not know what waits at the end of these roads, but I trust my instincts—they have kept me alive this far.
