Someone's Journal IV

The trail ends here. Maybe the clues were buried when this place collapsed. If I searched harder, I might find more, but I am not sure if I wish to try. Maybe I am the only one left who remembers them, and all I want now is to say a prayer for their soul. Whoever you were—lost, searching, confused—may you find more peace here than you did in life. Now, I am heading back into the cave. I hope to leave something behind, too, for those who come after me.
