Wonyeong used to be a Do wielder of the Jwado School. To understand why she is now a work supervisor on Yukjo Street, we need to delve into her past.
One day, while Wonyeong was deeply immersed in training to communicate with the gods as usual, she began to hear faint whispers calling out to her. Intrigued, she started searching for the source of the sound.
Strangely enough, the sounds were coming from within her own pocket. Upon rummaging through it, she discovered that the whispers were emanating from the Bonghwang's Fragment, a gemstone she had purchased from a wandering merchant she once met in Bukpo.
The whispers vaguely told her that she had the ability to lead people, and then they ceased. Wonyeong believes that it was the "Gemstone God" who whispered to her, and she now manages the gemstone, awaiting the day the Gemstone God speaks to her once more.
