Grand Ancestral Rite performed long ago in Drieghan. It was held to appease the fury of the Gods during times of great threat to the village, such a plagues or wildfire, however many villagers turned against it as great sacrificial offerings had to be made. The sacrifices were 'things that should never be offered', including livestock grown and raised like household pets, and even human blood.
