Dark Red Crystal were considered a symbol of the royal family of Mediah. The elite soldiers at the court were given special weapons with a unique symbol directly from the king, and those weapons had fragments of this type of crystal attached.

The composition and background of Dark Red Crystals is still unknown, and only a handful of collectors have interest in them.
