Meaning of the Altar by Generation

In the past, Otters built altars to pray for their parents in the afterlife or for the happiness of their families. However, once the Abyssal Pearl Fishism came to be, the altar became a place to worship the fish god.

The meaning of the altar has split the generations into two. Young Otters, mostly consisting of Abyssal Pearl Fishism followers have taken over the altars while the older generations were busy at work. This was to begin the conflict between the generations.
