The "Specter" is in the form of red sphere, an is emitted when the black stone NPC Knowledge Item is exposed to a powerful shock or magnetic power. The Specter will be absorbed by any black stones nearby, but if it is not get absorbed, it will fast perish. If the Specter detects a living creature nearby, it will be a parasite on the creature's brain until it finds a black stone, living off of the electricity the brainwave emits.
