## Description

Octopi inhabit and lay eggs in underwater caves. Female octopi do not eat for more than 5 months while protecting their eggs and die just before or directly after they hatch. 

An octopus is a mollusk with 8 legs, which are much more commonly eaten than their actual bodies.
