Manal used to work at the forge in Altinova. He moved to Valencia with high hopes and confidence in his own abilities, but was nearly stranded trying to cross the desert. He thanks god every night for Prince Barhan, who wiped out the Gahaz Bandits and founded Barhan Gateway.
