## Description

The Goldenstriped Soapfish is a snapper found along tropical and subtropical reefs, easily recognized by its bright yellow stripes running down its sides. These fish gather in groups near coral and live rocks, usually between 5 and 50 m deep. By day, they hide out behind cover, only coming out to feed as the sun begins to set.
