Take Me to the Land of the Desert

Objective
Maopan NPC Knowledge, a Drieghanese cook, is curious about the exotic food that mercenaries from Valencia eat. Although he has never been outside Drieghan, he has been building a ship to go to Valencia one day. Get Maopan the materials he need to finish building his ship.

※ This is a crossroad quest. If you complete the quest Take Me to the Land of the Desert , you won't be able to accept the quest Make Me A Safe Path.

Have you ever been to Valencia, the land of the desert?
I've never been outside Drieghan, actually,
but I have been curious about the food some of the mercenaries from there eat.
The mercenaries told me they are from Valencia, yet they also said that
they are from somewhere with lots of palm trees called Arehaza.
Isn't that puzzling?
So, I decided to build a ship in my spare time to go there one day.
I'm excited, but also kind of scared to leave Drieghan.
Unfortunately, I am running out materials to build my ship.
Can you give me a hand?
If you help me, I'll give you a Mysterious Chest from Calpheon.
