To earn a livin' we joined a band of Human pirates.
But then, one-by-one, our crew mates began to wither away... Queeek.
They withered away until they all be dead as a door nail. Queek...
In the end, it just be me brother and meself left. Queek.
Queek... We feared 'twas only a matter of time 'til death found us, too.
But then, one day... in the captain's quarters! Queek!
We found records of a Mermaid massacre. Queek.
A beautiful crimson gem containin' incredible magic. Queek.
It allowed the wielder to control the waters. The Mermaid's Heart... Queek...
It be at that moment when us brothers knew. Queek.
Our pirate crew had been cursed by the Mermaids. Queek...
And there... Queek. There be another record...
The tale of a Mermaid who fell in love with a Human and left the seas. Queek.
