Feeling Despair in the Land of Peace
Black Spirit
Objective
May 30
Blimey... I feel like I've wandered aimlessly for days...
The weather grows unbearably hotter with each step I take. Which also means that I'm getting closer to the desert. The rather unfamiliar terrain also made it extremely difficult to find the right path.
On the fifth day, I finally arrived at my destination. The place known as the entrance to the Valencian great desert - Capotia. It was a rowdy and noisy place.
Upon entering Capotia, there was a large market bustling with Valencian merchants, traders, and adventurers alike. The people in Valencia called this market the bazaar. I decided to rest for a day here to recover from the long trip. However, I was appalled by the fact that the spending one night in a tent was the same price back home staying at an inn.
The merchants were busy trying to sell their goods to those traveling to the desert, which included the Star Anise Tea Knowledge Item, which they were asking for a ridiculous price. In truth, everything they sold was too expensive. Although these could be essential goods, I was confident that what I had was enough for the journey and didn't make any additional purchases.
At the time, I relied more on instincts rather than objective reasoning. I acted as if I were a young, brave adventurer.
