Objective
Chief Durgeff NPC Knowledge of Duvencrune claims that the story has been passed down from a long time ago, and that though he will not stop you from tracing the story, everybody must figure things out on their own. Go to Aljai and tell him that it is worth investigating.

Ah, you're talking about the old document about Azunak.
It's a story told since the time Drieghan was established.
Azunak freed the natives of Drieghan
from the black energy, and then vanished into the skies.
They say that Azunak became the sun
and is now shining light across Drieghan.
This is why we look up to the sun
and believe it to be holy.
Also, what we call the Treasure of Azunak,
some say that it is sealed at the highest point of Drieghan.
The look in your eyes appear to tell me
that you are curious about whether or not Azunak truly existed.
Unfortunately,
we are forbidden to talk about this with foreigners.
However...It's true that we owe you much.
So, I find no reason for me to stop you from what you want to do.
Just keep in mind, that if you want to draw near to these heavens,
you will have to do everything on your own.
