Chapter 2: The One on the Throne

Despite Mongryong's cries, Jang Hyeongwang calmly walked away. He then yelled at someone who was sitting on the throne.

"Begone, stand-in! You're in my throne!"

The person on the throne vanished. Startled, Hyeongwang heard a voice from behind him, like it was coming from the void. A rough thought, an uneasy gaze, someone was watching him.

"Your throne, you say? How dare you bastardize the throne. You mock me, and now you wish to step above me?"

The voice seemed to look down on him from an endlessly high place. Hyeongwang recognized the voice.

"That voice...?! Ugh!!"

A sword pierced through Hyeongwang's chest. As the barely conscious Mongryong and the traveler entered, they discovered the one who took Hyeongwang's life was... Im Yeook NPC Knowledge from Yuunru!
