There were two children playing at the yard.

"Did father tell you when he would return?"

A shadow loomed over the two children playing in the mud. Thinking it be their father, the children looked up.

However, the toothy grin of a pumpkin ghost was what awaited their eager eyes. Horrified, the children froze in place, daring not to utter a word.

From afar, the children's father saw the pumpkin ghost brush his children's hair, and without a second thought, he rushed towards them, and drove the pumpkin ghost out of town.

The children's father hugged the children and comforted them.

However, the children knew that the pumpkin ghost meant no harm. The pumpkin ghost simply wished to play with them.
