We need to find someone who will make sure that the seed is taken care of, and will grow.
Since the seed is planted in Pilgrim's Sanctum, we'll have to choose a pilgrim to oversee the growing plant.
After you plant the seed, can you go to Pilgrim's Haven?
You should be able to find someone who is willing to look after the plant.
