Noah Akum of Abun said that it was true that the Barbarians had staged a rebellion, and that Abun was not always in ruins as it is now. Talk to another villager.

Prophecy? Witch? I don't know about any of these things.
All I know is the villagers are suffering under those filthy Barbarians.
We were once the masters of the Abandoned Iron Mine and the Barbarians were the ones who worked it.
Life was good... but everything has changed since the Three Days of Darkness.
The Barbarians overthrew the workers in the village and took over the Abandoned Iron Mine.
Many of the villagers in Abun were taken and forced to work. Mediah left us to our fate.
Our village... Our beloved village wasn't always in the state you see today...
