[Storybook] The Living Painting
Black Spirit
Objective
The Living Painting I: Suspicious Painting
Hyunyong NPC Knowledge of the Chorong Merchant Guild encountered a strange situation.
One day, he got his hands on a painting carried over by the wind.
The next morning, to his surprise, the
bamboo in the painting had vanished,
leaving behind a blank page.
The Chorong Merchant Guild sought to uncover the identity of the enigmatic painting,
in which the bamboo was seemingly alive and ready to dance at the slightest breeze.
The traveler headed to Shimnidae Forest after hearing from Hyunyong about
a talented painter who could beautifully depict bamboo.
There, they met someone named Shin Taesun NPC Knowledge,
who said she was not a professional painter.
Her son had ventured away from home, and she sought solace in her solitude by painting bamboo.
It was carried away by the wind, eventually falling into the hands of Hyunyong.
Surprisingly, in the bamboo paintings created by Shin Taesun,
little figures known as Bamboolings sprang to life.
These Bamboolings were kind and lovely beings who accompanied Shin Taesun,
their mother, soothing her solitude and bringing comfort to her heart.
