Killing your prey and skinning it for meat and leather is very different from drawing hot blood with a fluid collector.

The fluid collector is more fragile than it seems and the needle breaks easily.

I am learning the basics of alchemy from Alustin NPC Knowledge. It seemed like a useful skill to learn for adventures and also for daily use.

He told me that teaching me alchemy felt very strange, as it was something so foreign for me.

Alchemy was like blowing air slowly into a balloon until it popped.

First I had to catch weasels and draw blood from it. I had to kill it quickly and painlessly, and draw hot blood before it hardens.

It was very much different from collecting Ogre's blood, which I experienced a couple of months ago.

When the flasks on my belt clashed against each other, it was as if the souls of the weasels were alive in the bottle, crying out in agony.

But then again, it felt like I gave them a new purpose. They would have been nothing more than mere meet. I become wiser with every experience. Today, I draw blood from them once again.
