The Wise Senses Danger and Avoids It

After I completed exploring the ruins where the loud sound came from, I left the place to continue my travel to the desert. The desert was quiet and barren as always.
I was lost in my thoughts as I walked. A hammering noise from a distance broke the silence and got my attention. There was a man under the cliff setting up a tent.
He looked at me and warned that a sandstorm will be approaching soon. I was skeptical at first. It was hard to imagine that a sandstorm was brewing at a quiet desert like this, but I didn't want to take my chances.
I asked if I could rest here a bit and he openly welcomed me. We had some snacks together as we shared a conversation. Then, all of a sudden, strong winds began to batter the tent from outside.
We kept talking and lost track of time. The winds eventually calmed down.
Shortly after, silence settled upon the desert and I found the Ibellab Oasis, reflecting the red sunset.
