## Objective

Wherever the Wind Blows, Whoever I Call

Even though my second love failed, no, ended, it wasn't as painful as the first. My feelings were getting dull in this familiar situation... 'Twas only my second love, but I guess I too had grown up a bit? No, if I look at myself in all honesty, I cannot like someone as much as I did the first time. The sense of loss after the breakup was proportional to the feeling of liking someone. I came to hate that pain, and consciously tried to like others less. I tried not to give my all, to protect myself.

Then I came to meet the appropriate man by coincidence. A man who introduced himself as a meandering explorer. Although he revealed that he was promised to wed another, that fact wasn't important to me. 'Twas a mere casual fling, and would casually end. Such a short encounter wouldn't leave any sort of scar on me. 

Time passed, and he went his way. I too returned to my own.
