Objective
Faunpa NPC Knowledge recalls that there were other merchants being chased by the Gargoyles when he himself was under their attack. Look for the merchants along the road to the sentry post, by which they are supposed to have fled.

Ah... I just remembered.
When we were under attack from the Gargoyles,
there was another wagon that was chasing us.
Luckily, they completed their role as escorts,
and the wagon was able to escape destruction.
But once Gargoyles cling on, it's hard to pull them off.
We're fine, so can you go help them?
