Hahaha, even the title sounds absurd. "The Origin of Black Death NPC Knowledge Item..."
Hmm... I had hoped my memory served me wrong,
but, unfortunately, I recalled correctly. Most of this section remains damaged.
And yet, what's left is still quite the interesting read.
Blackstar... that was the name given by Caphras NPC Knowledge for the stone that fell from the sky.

I have experience with treating the Ashen Plague, and it's telling me that
we mustn't take this Blackstar lightly.

Caphras NPC Knowledge spoke of a "sacred peace..." and that phrase chills me to the bone.
Maybe he meant it word for word, or, it was referring to something else entirely.
Also, according to his journal, he speculated the existence of more than one Blackstar.
If ever another Blackstar is discovered before we understand what it truly is...
The Ashen Plague could be seen as the precursor to whatever might follow.
We must uncover the true nature of what lies hidden within that meteorite.
I will do some research on the Blackstar and the Ashen Plague.
Your mission is to find out what exactly is inside the meteorite.
The scattered energy of the star that's required to awaken whatever is inside it
must refer to the Black Stone NPC Knowledge Item, and the creatures possessed by it.
Concentrated Boss's Aura is volatile and difficult to handle,
so I'll give you a vessel so that you can contain it.
It's the same thing I used when making the cure for the Ashen Plague
that swept through this land because of the Blackstar.
The records say that if you stand in front of the star with that energy in your hands,
the hungry Blackstar will appear to devour the Eye of Desolation.
I recommend you practice caution. Even the mighty Caphras
warned of its gluttonous and heinous nature.
