The Society of Equilibrium had maintained ties with the <b>Hakinza Sanctuary</b> at Edania's gates. So journeying with the Society would make survival... a little easier.

Upon the shore, I glimpsed Illezra's shadow—was it real, or just the sea's trickery? Leaving the coast behind, I walked with Orwen, towering cliffs looming at our sides.

"Originally, this land was called... <b>Alyaelli</b>. According to Lafi's research, it means <b>Land Blessed by the Gods</b>. Once it brimmed with abundance... Yet now... Ever since the Black Spirits first came to these lands, death has taken root here."

The people of Valencia, who suffered at the hands of monsters pouring out from their territory, prayed for salvation to Aal, the God of War whom they serve. After long prayers, at last, the king received a revelation and formed a special force, and they have protected this place ever since.

As we pressed on and reached the sanctum, a lone man stood vigil at the gate. His eyes, cold and resolute, barred my path.

"Stop. You the next challenger?"

Orwen claimed we could simply pass, but the Hashashin would not yield. His resolve was unwavering. His assault was fierce, but after several clashes, I knocked the weapon from his grasp. Only then did he permit me entry.

"Your worth has been proven. Rise again in the sandstorm."
