As the Naga's attack crashed down, Simba moved with swift resolve, shielding Tumaini from harm. With his final breath, Simba told Tumaini not to bear the guilt of this day—and then, his journey ended.

"No amount of training could change it. When it mattered most, I couldn't even—"

Tumaini, who had fled when his family was attacked, who had run while comrades fought and fell, realized he could not let their sacrifice be in vain. With renewed determination, he joined my quest.

First, we searched the surroundings, seeking the meaning behind Simba's last words—Rusalka.

"I touch sea treasure. Learn two-leg beast words. Super smart now!"

As Tumaini and I hunted for clues, we encountered Dodi, a Naga who could speak in our tongue.

Dodi revealed that Rusalka was the oldest name among Mermaids, and that she dwelled within the Mermaid's Veil. By chance, Dodi had once touched the Mermaid's treasure and slipped inside the Veil, barely escaping with his life. But now, the treasure had vanished—stolen by unknown hands.

"Treasure gone, then something show up. Inside veil, land appear. Just now."

Dodi claimed the trail of the runaway Mermaid lay beneath a tree, and gave us directions to its hidden place.
