Alarmed, I quickly sat upright. Having heard my movements, someone opened the door to the room I was in. Two Shais, who I assumed to be a couple, stood there with some incense in hand.

Although this was my first time meeting them, I felt that I need not be wary of the two. They asked me how I felt, then left without another word.

While I was still trying to discern if this was real or but a dream, my vision faded once more.


Some time passed, and I reopened my eyes and stood once more, only to be covered by a warmth and comforting sense of peace I hadn't felt in years.

Strange enough, there was no one in the house. A single note and cold supper accompanied by some medicine were placed atop a table.


"We've much to ask... such as why you were at those ruins, and why were you searching for that stone, and yet,

there's not enough time left for us it seems. You may not recognize us,

but we know who you are. The dark cave in the west. We shall be waiting for you there."
