There was only silence between us. Shen was the first to break it. 

He conceded that the Crows were growing rapidly, and that the Shens were in need of more money, but they couldn't join hands with just anyone. 


I was extremely offended, but we were at a disadvantage. I had to give him what he wanted. 

He demanded that I go in person to explore the Kratuga ruins underneath the Ancient Hasrah Ruins, and I assembled a team to head off without delay.
