A cataclysmic explosion had swept through, leaving naught but desolation in its wake. The soldiers who arrived belatedly could not bring themselves to gaze upon the harrowing scene.

Not a single soul, save for mine, drew breath amidst the carnage. Yet, I too was grievously wounded, unable to stand. With the last vestiges of my strength, I began to crawl towards the altar. But alas, one soldier rushed forth and hurled a spear at me.

I could not reach the altar, and thus, I plummeted from the cliff's edge into the cold sea below, with the spear embedded in my side...
