The Traveler and Dolswe headed to Nampo to help the Songakshi recover her lost memories. And truth be told, Maewol had a good relationship with Sungyeom in Nampo. 

Sungyeom was a renowned gisaeng at the government office. She was famous for her dancing, singing, poetry, and extraordinary beauty. But despite all of this, she couldn't help but feel uneasy in the presence of Maewol.

One day, Maewol accompanied her father to Nampo and caught the eye of the Yeongam of the East, who was passing through the town. It was Maewol's innocent and alluring beauty that enraptured him, and her presence gradually found its way into his heart like ink spreading on a piece of parchment.

Despite stunning Sungyeom's charms, Yeongam set his sights on Maewol and relentlessly pursued her. However, Maewol, already engaged, rejected him repeatedly.
