Putting behind the countless flings and breakups, I wanted to settle down somewhere. I had forgotten the ideal person of my youth, the fantasies of days past. My final love came to me. Hailing from a military background, he was a man of few words, but kind. When we were together I felt like I could rely on him, and when we were apart I trusted him. Even if he wasn't passionate towards me, he was always the same, making cool-headed decisions yet holding big ambitions in his heart. "If it's him, perhaps I can depend on him for eternity. Everything is good now, but can it last forever?" Such complicated thoughts shook me to my core.

However, he was different from me. I'm not sure exactly why, but he felt that I was the one. He asked me to be with him for the rest of his days, took my hand and we got married. However, the heavens heartlessly decided to set us apart forever. One day, my husband was deployed off to Valencia and never returned. Such was the way my final love, also came to a close.
