Survival demands submission to a calamity that seeks the end of all things. It was an incomprehensible truth—one that defied reason. Yet one thing was certain: if left unchecked, another disaster would soon befall this world.

Orwen, unable to bear the weight of truth, fled into the shadows. I hurried after her, feeling the storm of fear and confusion swirling within her heart. Though she knew Caphras, now embraced by darkness, must be stopped, she was torn—could she truly stand against the only family she had left, her father?

"His sins can never be forgiven. My father did terrible, unforgivable things. But even knowing everything he's done, if I were to see him again..."

Orwen is not like those who sacrifice countless lives in the name of some greater cause. She has not inherited their coldness—I know that much. Though I told her she need not force herself to go, thankfully, Orwen found her resolve once more.

"...No. I won't run away anymore. Because I'm his daughter, I can't just turn my back or keep running all the more. Only I can answer for what Caphras has done. No one else can bear that burden but me!"
