Well, ever since the era of the Grand Chamberlain began,
our league of merchants has been under great harassment.
I don't know what he's up to, but he's squeezing coins out of all of us.
Do you have any idea how ruthless he has been?
He forces us to purchase bonds and
is levying a ridiculous amount of interests on it. It's strangling us to death!
He has even allowed permits for House Encarotia, an old Calpheon noble,
to set up a branch of the Xian Merchant Guild in Heidel.
And a contract with them was nothing short of unfairness.
Debts climb by the day, and every day I feel too ashamed to meet Isobelle.
