Dialogue
Isobelle Encarotia
Dialogue
I see you've already become acquainted with Lady Norma.
Good. She's basically the godmother of House Leight.
Look at this entire wheat plantation.
Everyone here seems quite content to work here.
Lady Norma was able to accomplish all of this on her own.
People tend to become complacent once they manage to become wealthy and rich.
Lady Norma, on the other hand, has always stayed humble
and tried to provide help to those in need of it in the village.
...This may come off as a bit a surprise, but I always wanted to become a noble.
Haha. You look surprised, but yes, no noble blood flows through these veins.
House Encarotia is made up of your normal, everyday merchants.
Thanks to our amassed wealth, we would eventually buy our way to noble status.
The one thing I absolutely can't stand... is being looked down upon by others...
Naive young me thought... my problems would be over once... I had enough.. wealth.
Even if the villagers would point their fingers at me... calling me a venomous serpent
who cared not in the tactics she'd use to claim what was hers...
I was fine.. For regardless of their thoughts, they still would come to follow me.
However, when I look at the workers... at this Northern Wheat Plantation...
I feel... like... all of the things I've done h..ave been... in vain...
Because... the... people... on the plantation... work hard... voluntarily....
Ah.. I must be feeling... a bit sentimental...
moved by... the view.
Forget... what I just said...
A true merchant... would not allow... their emotions to affect... their... calculations.
(Isobelle loses her balance and collapses.)

Although we were able to apply first aid, we're not out of the woods yet.
I think when she visited the Castle Ruins earlier,
one of the rebel's blades may have cut her skin.
