Objective
According to Andre Vidal NPC Knowledge, we need to destroy the Troll Catapults to gain the upper hand in battle. Go to the battlefield, destroy the Troll Catapults, and report to Vidal.

The biggest threat to us from the Trolls is that giant catapult of theirs.
Those massive Trolls are using their strength to hurl enormous rocks at us with the catapults,
and the fort and knights have suffered great casualties.
Some say that since the Trolls used to be peaceful,
we should just try and calm them down...
but that's a foolish delusion.
We must overcome them by force.
There's no other way.
To do that, we must first take care of the Trolls' catapults to turn the tide and get the upper hand in battle.
