Starry night. I was gazing out into the ocean from the shores of Velia. 

Thoughts of Islin, whom I promised to marry, my passion for adventures, the purpose in life... All raced through my mind. Looking at the ocean clears my head. I decided to take off tomorrow.

I am content with the life that I have and settling down, but not yet. I want to travel to far away lands. And I feel like this is my destiny. There's nothing to prepare. I will leave at dawn when the rooster cries.

I will say my farewells to Islin. But she wouldn't understand. If she forgives me when I return, I will marry her and spend an eternity together.

It appears from the darkness and whispers into my ear. 

"Well then, let's go to the lands of the East! Just follow me!"
